WordPress Site Health tool vs a human health check.
WordPress has its own Site Health screen. In wp-admin, go to Tools → Site Health and it gives you a status score plus a list of recommended fixes.
It is good at the technical basics: an old PHP version, inactive plugins and themes you should delete, missing HTTPS, and scheduled tasks that are not running. Fix what it flags. It is free and it is already on your site.
What it cannot see is the stuff that decides whether a bad day stays small: whether an off-site backup exists and actually restores, whether anyone is watching uptime, and whether checkout still takes money. That is what a person checks.

Check your versions
In wp-admin, open Dashboard → Updates. Note anything that says an update is waiting for WordPress, your theme, or a plugin.
Find your last backup, then test it
Confirm a backup exists somewhere other than the server itself, and how old it is. Then restore it to a staging copy. A backup you have never restored is a hope, not a backup.
Check SSL and your login
Make sure every page loads on https with no browser warning, and that admin accounts use strong, unique passwords.
Run a speed test
Put your home page and your busiest page through a free speed test such as PageSpeed Insights, and look at the mobile score first.
Set up a free uptime ping
Use a free uptime monitor to check the site every few minutes and email you when it goes down, so a customer is not the one who tells you.
